How can I buy a licence?

- On the opening screen, click "Request Licence Key...".

- The next screen will then display a licence code, such as "TMR-6679-0758".

- Please email this code to: patchwork.software@gmail.com

- We will reply with a PayPal link. Once payment is received, we will email you a licence key.

- Next time you start the app, on the opening screen, click "Enter Licence Key...".

- Enter the licence key you have received by email.


Do you accept any other payment methods than PayPal?

- Generally we only accept PayPal.


Can I set alarms at specific times of day?

- No, timing starts when you click "Start Timing". Timers are not linked to the time of day.


Are languages other than English available?

- No, the text on screens and buttons is only in English.


What is the maximum duration a timer can have?

- When licensed, 999 hours.


Is there a limit to the number of timers?

- When licensed, there is no practical limit.


What limitations are removed with a licence?

- When un-licensed, the number of timers is limited to 3, and timer duration is limited to 30 minutes.

- Both of these limits are removed when licensed.


Whihc versions of Windows is TimerBars compatible with?

- We've successfully ran TimerBars on Windows versions right back to XP, although XP did not have speech-synthesis. Speech-synthesis was successful when we tested Windows 7 and later versions.


Does TimerBars come with preset cooking plans?

- No, cooking plans need to be entered.


Why is the "OK" button greyed out?

- A required value which has not been set.

- Please scan the screen for red prompt labels which usually indicate missing values.

For example, the "Add Timer" screen requires a label to be entered, and the duration has to be greater than zero.
