PatchPerfect is free to install and evaluate. However, you will need to purchase a licence to access the full features of the app.

There are 3 levels of licensing : evaluation, trial licence, and full licence.

Evaluation : intended for you to quickly try out the app without needing a licence key.

Evaluation is free, and you can run as many sessions as you want. The following features are disabled during an evaluation session:

- Repository (used to save designs)
- Autosave
- Recycle bin

Also, the Blocks Catalog is limited, but still available.

Trial Licence : access to all features of the app. Free, but with the following limitations:

- Blocks Catalog is limited
- Repository/Recycle Bin limited to 1 item
- Expires after one week (please email us to request further time if needed)

We recommend using a trial licence to check the Repository and Recycle Bin function correctly before purchasing a full licence (because it is not our policy to issue refunds).

We've tested on Windows versions going all the way back to XP SP3 (released in 2008), and have not encountered any problems, but it's probably still best to test on your computer as well.

Full Licence : All features of the app are available, without time limit. A licence is locked to one computer and Windows account.

This means that if two people use the same computer, but use different logons, they would each need a licence.

- the code visible in the "Buy Full Licence" screen
- your preferred payment method : either electronic funds transfer (which we prefer), paypal, or online credit card

We will reply with payment details. Once we have received payment, we will email you the licence key required for the "Licence Key Entry" screen. And from then on, we wish you happy quilting!
